How We Use Visitors’ Information
While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name ("Personal Information").
When you visit this web site to browse, you do so anonymously. NVE5 does not collect identifying information about you. We collect only summary and statistical information (see below) about the numbers of individuals who visit our web site and what those individuals look at. This information is used to create summary statistics, which are used for such things as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. This information is NOT shared with anyone beyond the support staff to this Site except when required by Law Enforcement investigation.
Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. Information collected and stored which may be held indefinitely include the following:

- The type of browser and operating system used to access our site;
- The date and time you access our site;
- The Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site
- Information Collected from e-mail
You may volunteer to provide us personally identifying information, for example your mailing address, in an electronic message or web-based form. Information collected in this manner is used solely for responding to your request unless noted in the specific web page where your request is made. We do not share this information with government agencies, commercial and non-commercial entities, or the public unless noted on a particular web page.
Software tags called "cookies" are used to identify and verify clients when they access the client side of our web site and to store return client information so that repetitive keystrokes are minimized. Cookies are used to remember client preferences and maximize performance of our services. Attempts to authenticate to the client side of our web site using user IDs and passwords are logged and audited. Client information and logs are maintained for purposes of security and accuracy. NVE5 will not sell or distribute client information to any other person, organization, or entity.
We may use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that you provide to us. If you subscribe to newsletters from NVE5, we may be able to confirm the e-mail addresses of subscribers who have clicked on URLs embedded in our message content. We may collect this information to gauge user interest and to make future newsletters more useful by customizing the content provided to you.
In general, you are not required to submit any personal information when you visit the Site, but NVE5 may require you to provide certain information so that you may receive additional information about our services and events. The Site may also ask for your permission for certain uses of your personal information, and you can agree to or decline those uses. If you opt-in for particular services or communications, such as an e-newsletter, you will be able to unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions included in each communication. If you decide to unsubscribe from a service or communication, we will try to remove your information promptly, although we may require additional information before we can process your request.
Security, Intrusion, and Detection
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Those individuals who have access to the data are required to maintain confidentiality of such information.
For site security purposes, and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, all network traffic is monitored in order to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage or conduct criminal activity. Unauthorized attempts to defeat or circumvent security features, to use the system for other than intended purposes, to deny service to authorized users, to access, obtain, alter, damage, or destroy information, or otherwise to interfere with the system or its operation are prohibited. Evidence of such acts may be disclosed to law enforcement authorities and result in criminal prosecution under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 (Pub. L. 99-474) and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act of 1996 (Pub.L. 104-294), (18 U.S.C. 1030), or other applicable criminal laws.
